Leeds Mercury to organise Otley Town Centre Road Race, June 2008
Leeds Mercury have extended the number of events they are promoting in 2008. As well as providing events for junior riders from age 10 upwards, and for senior riders to veterans, we shall also be involved in promoting one of the most prestigious events in the North, the Otley Town Centre Road Race which always attracts professional riders.
The full programme is as follows:
13th April 2008 - Leeds Mercury Opening Road Race. LVRC Bishopwood, Selby. Alistair Cameron runs this race for the second year. Many thanks to all the volunteers from various clubs who helped to keep the race running smoothly last year. April 27th 2008- A1 Classic -LVRC Road Race Boroughbridge, organiser Alan Edmondson. This race forms part of the LVRC Percy Stallard series and many riders travel from the further reaches of the country to participate.
